I had looked and looked for a backpack and unfortunately half way through the year backpacks aren't as readily available as at the beginning so I was forced to look on-line (I couldn't find any reasonably priced packs in the stores and hardly any in the stores at all for that matter). Anyway, this pack arrived and my son was very excited to get it (he's currently into Captain America). The pack has lasted and I think will last him through the rest of the year, but I'm not sure if it will make it into or through next year due to the quality (it's already getting a hole in the bottom because it's not reenforced. So I guess I'd say if you don't care whether your childs pack lasts more than 1 School year, I'd go ahead and get this one, but it really depends on how hard your kid(s) are on their stuff.
