I think it's a great idea. Only needs a few areas tweaked to make it perfect. The zippers are kind of tough to unzip. It doesn't zip open or closed smoothly. You need to kind of tug it a bit because the backpack is hard plastic, not like regular backpacks. The drawing area is a great idea except that the size is not a standard paper size. It's smaller than 8X11 but larger than half that size, so you would have to fold the paper in half or cut it to size.
